Every child deserves the chance to engage in activities they love.
Our goal is to provide young people in the North End of Halifax (including Bayers Westwood) with the opportunities to participate in programs that they otherwise would be unable to take part in.
It's a small yet significant step toward equity.

*Youth may apply once per season. Maximum funding of up to $500 per youth.
Prior to Applying for Funding, please be sure you have completed these steps:
Submit the application for the requested camp
Let the camp registrar know that funding from NEOF is being requested
Let the camp registrar know that it will take 2-4 weeks to process your application for funding.
Remember that each application needs a recommendation from someone who knows you and your child/the youth (teacher, social worker, coach etc.). Once the Youth Application Form is submitted, your recommender must submit the recommender form to complete the application.
Remember that all questions related to camp location, cost of camp, name on cheque and mailing address must be completed in full.
